Yoga is a practical aid, not a religion. Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with their environment. This is a simple definition.

Yoga is an old discipline from India. It is both spiritual and physical. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation. It claims to improve health and happiness. A person doing yoga will move from one posture (called asana) to another. For example, the “sun-salutation” contains 12 poses of asanas, one after the other, and is said to help balance body and soul. The “sun-salutation” is popularly known as “Suryanamaskar”.
